NOCTURNAL RHINOCONJUNCTIVITIS QUALITY OF LIFE QUESTIONNAIRE (Nocturnal RQLQ)
Some patients with rhinoconjunctivitis experience their symptoms predominantly at night and these interfere with getting a good night’s sleep which in turn has an impact on how patients feel and how they are able to function during the day.
The Nocturnal Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (Nocturnal RQLQ) has been developed and validated to assess the specific problems that these patients experience. The Nocturnal RQLQ has 16 items in 4 domains (problems with sleep, symptoms during sleep time, symptoms on waking in the morning and practical problems). Patients recall their experiences during the previous week and respond to each question on a 7-point scale.
The Nocturnal RQLQ has been fully validated and has strong measurement properties.
